Do you want to practice public speaking, improve your communication and build leadership skills? Come let's enjoy the argument in a courteous, constructive and kind manner. The main objective of this class is for students to generate critical thinking into issues in a given topic and effectively use the language of persuasion to add impact to their argument. In essence the benefits of this class to a student are numerous. These include but are not limited to the following; • Gaining broad, multi-faceted knowledge cutting across several disciplines outside the learner’s normal academic subjects. • providing an engaging, active, learner-centered activity. • Improving rigorous higher-order and critical thinking skills. • Enhancing learners’ analytical, research and note-taking skills. • Encouraging teamwork. (6 weeks: every Tuesday at 4pm: 60 minutes. First lesson: 23.03.2021)
